uhh Hi?

Hey so i should probably update this thing. as of now…im too bored to function and i’d rather not update right now because my brain is turned to “off” since its 730pm and i cant think of a good place to start an update at because life has been crazy since October.

hmm well i guess i can update a little?

November:

- LAmb trivia night = success

- Thanksgiving = really yummy

- BWS drama….my pep-rally co-chair decided to fail at life and 1) stopped coming to school [we have 1 class, 2 clubs together] 2) decided to wait until right before we got back to school from thanksgiving to let our adviser know she didnt want to help with the pep rally anymore [after having been co-chair since the 2nd week of October!] 3) she deleted me from facebook because i told her to come to start coming to school and we needed to get things done for the pep rally [grow up!][and like i care haha shes soo sad]

- i helped Cody with PSH ALL NIGHTER (PAN) planning!

December:

- PSH ALL NIGHTER = really fun! [bust for some reason, PSH students would rather get have “crazy friday nights” then raise money for kids with cancer? ugh so rude! Whatever we raised over $1000!

- FINALS = not too bad.

and now….well im on vacation. kinda bummed i missed Deans List by .04  ugh! soo annoying! but im happy with the grades i got!

so yeah im in Japan. chillin’. its been nice to get away from the freezing weather back in Harrisburg! today it was so nice! sunny & we drove with the windows down. LOVE IT! be jealous!

anyways thats the best update i can give.

as a new years resolution im gonna try and update more more more more often in 2010.

Im Back…even tho i didnt really leave?

Hey everyone!

Okay so…im back! yes! sorry but something got into our professors coffee and they all decided to bombard us with projects/tests/blah blah…etc. these past couple weeks have been crazy!

and to top it off, Lion Ambassadors and Blue & White have also kept us all busy!

So where to begin…

too much has happened.

Blue & White had the 2nd annual Bonfire in the Burg! and it was a huge success…and apparently publicized very well because soo many people came. we had a better turn out than last years which was also pretty big! (wonder who is their publicity chair?? hm ….  :P  haha..me of course!)

Lion Ambassadors had their retreat & it was soo much fun! i luv the new LAmbs or LAmbers as we call ourselves now haha. (tiffani came up with that one).

Halloween is coming up in 2 weeks! Biggest Holiday here at PSH and well at PSU… and actually at any University ahah.

Me and tiff have our costumes all squared away!  but we’re not telling what we’re going to be! lol.

Right now…LAmbs are having a fundraiser at the local Chilis…and im patiently waiting for my crew to text me when they get there so i can meet them….im soo hungry!

Lots more to say/gossip about but…i have homework!

Summer is over…in a day.

Once again the time has come (for the second time this summer) to pack my bags and try to get off this island. I must say its going to be sad and i will be sad to leave. There will be things i wont miss of course like non-english speakers, crazy drivers, high Yen rates, etc. But im going to miss a lot of things like seeing my parents everyday, hanging out with my little brother, sleeping in, not working, casa de taco’s taco rice, being driven around everywhere (yes even though i had my license to drive here…i still didnt haha), and well…im only human so this next thing im going to miss shouldnt be a shock….and that would be the many many manyyyy marines over here. (the ones my age of course!). There is nothing like seeing a bunch of guys lookin’ extra fresh in their uniforms, all ironed, and marine-like. haha. definitely gonna miss the eye candy for sure. lol. (dont judge me lol) we dont have any of that at school :( But most importantly, i really am gonna miss my family :( but i’ll see them in december so thats not too far away!

so i guess things are already kicking off back at school. Freshies move into dorms today! oh how i remember the day moving into 9k’s my freshman yr. (and how i dont miss at all! dont ask). Im looking forward to meeting the class of 13. I know a lot of us are hoping theyre a lot better than class of 12 (no offense to some of my friends lol) but 12 was a crazy group of kids, and so far what we’ve seen on tours and stuff, 13 should be pretty calm…haha.

Lion Ambassadors are already getting back into the swing of things. Exec Board & Committee Chair meeting is scheduled for this monday @ noon. and well…i’ll be on an airplane then so looks like im missing that. :( and yeah obviously im missing my first day of classes too :( way to make a good first impression right? haha. cant help it. United Airlines suckssss. it was either fly back on monday or “sometime in september” (yeah theyre words exactly). So uhh…yeah i think its okay to miss one day.

Im super excited to get back to PA. I’ve missed it…kinda? haha. i mean its nice being on an island all summer but…i mean, no neato burrito here…and i just cant stand not having Neato for more than 2 weeks. lol. And i miss driving on the “right” side of the road. But thats it. oh and i miss my friends duh! but yeah…if PSH could come to this island, that would make my life. but…haha duh thats not ever gonna happen.

OMG almost forgot, i got my tickets for Perez Hilton Presents…concert. its gonna be amazing! Spet 13th in Philly!!! Cant wait! im really going to see FrankMusik whom i luv luv luv! and hopefully…i’ll meet FrankMusik aka Vincent Frank. We’re facebook friends (legit. his real facebook). So if i meet him, we’ll be like real life friends haha. i kid i kid but you never know!?!

Anyways gotta get to sleep. 230am here and i need my rest for my last full day here in Japan.

Summer Update [number 1!]

Sorry for the lack of updates in the past month or so. The end of the semester proved to be difficult :( With finals, end of the year stuff for LAmb, work and trying to get ready for my trip home to Japan, everything  just piled on and i didnt have time to update :(

Well here goes a little update…

The semester ended rather well for me. My grades improved [thank goodness!] and as far as school goes, thats it. haha. I finished up my last couple weeks of work before vacation which of course was fun since i love working w/my fav. ladies & guy haha. I miss the store so much!! its weird not having a job to go to right now…

Currently im in Okinawa Japan visiting my mom, dad and little brother. Ive been here since May 11th and i have about one more month to go. The weather is beautiful. I hear back in PA things are chilly & icey??? weird its June!! So im definitely soaking up the sun here. I dont know anyone here really so im suffering from a lack of social life :(  I spend my days relaxing and catching up on the sleep i never got during the past two semesters :) Lately, i’ve been going to work with my mom and hanging out in her office. Its fun for the most part. Ive gotten to do some shopping which is nice!! the fashion here is interesting, and im definitely taking notes. haha.

I must say i do miss PSH haha. Its weird not having something to do or people to go see. Since my mom works for the University of Maryland University College – Asia over here, im hearing all about students, registration, book buying, class schedules, and im like “hey! i do that too!…just not during the summer haha”.  I kinda wish i was though. JUST KIDDING! i like having my summers!

anyways its time i finish this up. I’ve got some things to think of and do for LAmb!

3 weeks??

Hey everyone,

Sorry again for the lack of updates but i’ve been super busy!

Two weeks ago Lion ambassadors went to the All Campus Conference up at University Park! it was soo much fun! and me & meghan made friends from PSU- Berhand haha.

Last weekend Lion ambassadors had our community easter egg hunt for the kids and it was sooo fun. Little kids are soo competative!!!

Yesterday was our end of the year Lion Ambassador party. I  got to show off the video i made featuring most of the events and activities we did all year which was nice. Everyone loved it!

and now that gets me to my point…SCHOOL IS OVER IN ABOUT 3 WEEKS!!!

im sad. :( Meghan & Mike aka my M&Ms are leaving me and next fall they’ll be at UP which sucks!!! but atleast i’ll have a place to crash at when i go up for football games :) haha.

tomorrow is a big day for the campus!

Tomorrow night at 830 – 11pm is Penn State harrisburgs (and all of Penn States) first bonfire!!!! (PSU-HBG is setting history!)

its gonna be sooo much fun!

A new Semester….

HEY HI HEY!

OK MAJOR MAJOR APOLOGIES FOR NOT WRITING FOR SOOOO LONG!!

BUT ITS A NEW SEMESTER AND IM FOCUSED AND READY TO BLOG ABOUT ALL THAT IS PSH!!!

SO LETS GET STARTED!!!

It’s the third week of school and so far it feels like we’ve been back for months already. As for “schooling” – classes are awesome. my schedule rocks and im super excited for this semester and everything i’ll be learning! I’m taking Theatre with Cody & Chelsea! and of course we have the amazing Jimmy Johnson teaching us, and its awesome! I’m also taking History of the Holocaust with Prof. Leifert and I LOVE IT. I mean, the material is sad and i cannot believe people treated human beings is such a terrible manner, but the stories are real, and theres no sugar coating it, and i think thats why i love this class.  And this semester…im trying my skills at Math again. haha. I’m taking Finite Math with Prof. Tabatabi, and i actually like math! weird…. haha. But yeah, this semester is gonna rock!

Friends-wise, well of course we all picked up where we left off! Tiffani, Meghan, Mike, Danny, etc. Its all good! And we just made plans for spring break!!!! We’re going to Myrtle Beach for the week, and its gonna be amazing!! Cannot wait!!!

Sooo….of course, its B-ball season here at school and i must say….the games are sooo much fun. PSH now has a loud and proud student section, aka Pride Rock! complete with timed cheers, t-shirts, and a front row of ninja turtle-hat wearing hardcore PSH fans! haha. If your a student, come out and join us!! it’s fun, and you get a free Pride Rock t-shirt! (sponsored by Blue & White Society). 

This Wednesday at 6pm & 8pm, PSH Womens & Mens Basketball games will be home, and against Penn State Berks! This is gonna be a very interesting game and we’re trying to get all PSH fans out! So come out, and even if you dont go to PSH come anyways!!!

 

Alright well thats all i can write at the moment…gotta get ready for class!
